Project:
Students will embellish a simple ring of 4mm beads in two different ways to make a self-supporting 7-pointed star. Design is easily modified to make six or five points instead.
Prerequisites:
Students must be able to use a stop bead, follow thread paths, weave thread tails into beadwork and finish with knots. It is recommended that students have previously completed a simple bead weaving project.

has been making jewelry since 2002. Her designs have been published in BeadStyle magazine and other publications, and she has won first place in the Fire Mountain Gems beadwork contest.
There will be no refunds given on classes canceled by the student after the registration deadline (one week before the start of class). A student who cancels will receive class handouts and any materials that are supplied by the instructor. If you are unable to come, please let the instructor know as soon as possible.
Registration and payment MUST be done at least a week before the date of the class; this provides a minimal amount of time for the instructors to prepare for the class. Registration can be done online. No late sign-ups are permitted unless approved by the instructor in advance of the class; no walk-ins allowed. Contact the Education Team for further assistance. Minimum of 3 students required for this class.
