SPECIAL EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT
In collaboration with the Howard County Library System, the Baltimore Bead Society invites you to reserve your seat and join a worldwide movement of creativity, connection, and hope as we commemorate the Day of Peace in Japan through the Toho Peace Chain Project, sponsored by Toho beads.

Beaders around the world are creating handcrafted beaded links that will be connected together in August 2026 at the Mall of America in an attempt to create the world’s longest beaded Peace Chain.

Registration is required with the Howard County Public Library System at https://howardcounty.librarycalendar.com/event/hold-baltimore-bead-society-391591.

There are two sessions to choose from:

  • 9:30–11 am or
  • 12:30–2 pm.

All supplies provided for free.

This event is part of the Bead Society’s outreach programming to give back to our community. BBS volunteers will be on hand to assist. Most of the rings created will be going to the Peace Chain.
