Monthly Programs

Note: Our Program Meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 will feature two different make and takes in person. We will also have our business portion set up with zoom for those who would like to join virtually. Beginning January 2026, please check here to see if we have moved into our new home at the Howard County Cap Building in Ellicott City, MD. Until then, our meetings will be in person at Charlestown in Catonsville, MD or virtual until the new spaces are ready and we can resume our in-person and hybrid meetings. If you are interested in joining us virtually, please email our BBS Membership Chair at bbsmemberchair@gmail.com for the meeting (zoom) link.

The Baltimore Bead Society’s monthly programs are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Meetings are currently held online due to the relocation of the Howard County Center for the Arts. In person location will be provided once confirmed.

Meetings start with a short business informational session followed by a program with a visiting artist or speaker. Our artists and speakers, nationally known in beading and jewelry making, offer our members an opportunity to meet and learn from the very best.

Other programs may also consist of free night of instruction on basic topic, a new technique, a social event such as a holiday party, or an introduction to a local vendor selling beads, supplies, or jewelry.

At each in person program, we have a freecycle table of jewelry supplies, and a “Wear and Share.” Everyone is welcome!
